We landed in Detroit at 6 a.m. on the 15th and, in true Lajci fashion, we hit the ground running! After getting our rental car and "checking in" to Hotel Andy, we went to Dave and Nicole's restaurant for brunch. They own their own restaurant in Clawson called "Due Venti." It was nice having the place to ourselves to visit and enjoy a leisurely meal. Paulina sat in a high chair for the first time and saw her first beard up close and personal! Also, of course, she met Dave and Nicole for the first time. They left for Spain the next day so we were glad to have a chance to spend some time with them.

After brunch, we headed over to Grandpa and Amy's for a quick visit. Paulina had a wonderful time playing with her Grandpa and Mark had a great time hanging with his brothers in law!
